Welcome to Art Class!
While learning about the uses of art, we will be concentrating on the development of each student’s technique while they work with different media. Students will learn how to draw with contour lines, use perspective, blend colors with paint, and much more. In addition to studio projects we will also be studying art from a variety of cultures, artistic movements, and art history.
Students will keep a notebook to write daily notes and to do practice sketches.
(This may be inside a larger binder.)
There is a $5.00 activity fee for “regular” Art and a $10.00 fee for Advanced Art (also named Art2/D2). This covers paints, pastels, paper, brushes, paper towels, etc. The school is no longer accepting checks. Cash and money orders will be accepted.
